Harry Rankin Trophy 2007

The first leg of this competition took place at Loch Fitty, Dunfermline on Wednesday 6th June 2007.

There were 33 rods taking part and a total of 44 fish were caught weighing an impressive 96lb 4oz (in total).

The winner on the day was Bill Cockburn of the Rotary Club of Jedburgh. His catch of 5 fish weighed in at 9lbs 12oz. In second place was John Anderson, Rotary Club of Inverness Culloden; 3 fish weighing 8lbs 12oz and in third place was G McKenzie of the Rotary Club of Elgin; 3 fish weighing 8lbs 8oz.

The heaviest fish was caught by John Middleton of the Rotary Club of Shotts; it weighed in at 5lbs 1oz.

The second leg of this competition will be played at the same venue on Wednesday 5th September 2007.
